Wow! its 2007 already..

I had a great xmas this year (technically speaking its last year) despite being ill! I was so tired out cos i'd been going out almost every day and staying out overnight or till very late, esp after the chalet but it's all worth it. It's quite taxing but i'd managed to squeeze in so many dinners altogether within this 2 weeks with all my dear friends. It feels great especially its after exams. Had dinner with new friends, old friends, dearest friends, long-lost friends, my family and classmates. I think this is the most fulfilling and meaningful xmas i ever had. Haha! Did i mention lotsa lovely xmas presents too... so Thank you all!! =)

Nice simple potluck with the mates at tam's place on xmas eve. Somehow we ended up with 2 logcakes. ha! Went to watch "Night at the museum" at Cathay after dinner. Great show! haa! After that I rush down to Rouge for xmas countdown with the gals, tam and Sean. Crowd and music was so-so only that night but the company was great. hee! Lunch at ling's with the gang the next afternoon and nice gift xchange session. Went home for my very first family "xmas dinner" at my sis's new place (yes jus across the road next block). I just had bread with curry chicken (yum!!) since i was still full from the late lunch. It was just a simple home cooked dinner but it felt nice cos everyone and my ah gong was also there. Its also more meaningful since its xmas. Went off after dinner to catch "Kim huey" aka Curse of the golden flower back with the gang. Hmm plot was ok, not too bad but abit put off by all the "incest" and killing among the own family, royal family somemore.. worst! Jay put up a brave act but ermm he still need more work on his acting lah. ha! but good effort overall la..

Slept my boxing day away as i was so tired after the xmas "stage running" and it rained the whole day. Then followed by chalet with lotsa games and laughter. Managed to have a nice dinner at an Italian restaurant with the old SJAB mates in between the 2 nights of chalet. I was literally stoned during dinner since i only slept 4 hrs the night b4. But still i enjoyed myself at dinner as its really nice to see them all again after so many years. Missed those times with them, imagine all the saturdays, daily after sch "activities", trainings and camps and games and endless fun and madness i had with them. Although they are not my classmates, they are definitely the best chapter of my sec sch life. Funny thing was after so many years le, they still disturb me and R. Hee! I haven seen him for like hmm.. 8 years since? Too bad Ping didnt make it else the old gang would be reunited. Oh man.. times really flies, i'm glad we all still managed to keep in contact. Its fortunate R found me through friendster too and we all managed to get him to come for dinner. Everything still feel pretty much the same although we all haven seen each other very often all these years, everyone was the same old crappy lot. ha! We went to No5 for some drinks after dinner. After 3 lychee martinis, lotsa pix taking and goofing around, I was totally braindead already by the time i went back to chalet. heh.

Had a nice New Year countdown at Shaun's. Little sleep again. ha! My eyebags are both crawling on the floor already... Had a great day shopping with Min at Vivo today. We watched Aniki's Confession of pain! Niceeeee!! Aniki was woooo.. totally perfect la... What can i say??.. Tony leong who? ha! :P Min ask me this question to choose between Aniki or Andy lau.. ha! Since its Andy Charming Lau i gave it some thought for a few more seconds.. haha Aniki lah of cos! We're bo liao i know.. haha!

Hmm what's next for the new year? I dunno. Vietnam HCM trip is on next week! yeah! Pilates class start next sun too. Seems like a good beginning for the year. Swimming classes next perharps? ha! who can teach me how to swim?? There's another year or so to go for sch. Hopefully work can get somewhere better this year else i may have to look for a new job soon on top of my current work... 2006's been a year full of learning for me with many ups and downs. Many precious moments gained, many new friendships, many old moments recaptured, many first time trying many new things.. I'd even managed to get back in contact with Aunt Cecelia(for those who dunno, she's my as-close-as-my-godmum maid back when i was young) again. I tot i will never be able to see her again since she went back philipines 8 years ago, oh another relationship regained after lost for 8 years. wow! Its really been a tough but meaningful year.. What can i say! I feel i'd seen so many things this year and i'd really grown too. I cant remember much of what i did for 2002, 03, 04, like i fell asleep while living like that, but woke up during 05 and started living my 2006.. ha!

I guess i can only hope for a better 2007, perharps even as meaningful and fulfiling as 2006 had been. And Yes World Peace as Always! No natural disasters... No Wars.. More LOVE everyone!!
