The many faces i'd seen this week

This is one of the reasons why a non-desk job can be more interesting! I'd seen so many different faces from all over the world this week. There are the friendly cute mix couples, group of gungho men who asked for alot of beer, kids excited over popcorn n icecreams. There's this woman who shouted at me when we ran out of hotdogs(grrrrr.. well i think she must be REALLY REALLY hungry!). There's this funny caucasian woman who pays for the food cos she brought the guy out for a date?! She's like "wow u're such an expensive date! The guy just smiles.. haha so cute!), 3 japanese ladies who asked for beer "Can i have a beeeru pleese, we share" (beeru as in beer!), same group of japanese ladies who came back for MORE beeeru, koreans ladies who bought beer too (and i was so hoping that 3 korean hunks would be nearby but nope, just the 3 ladies.. bahhh.... ), generally lotsa foreigners and some locals.

One thing that only a local would do is to ask for PLASTIC BAGS!
They ask for bags when they buy ONE popcorn, they ask for a bag when they buy a bottle of water, i dun understand why do they need a bag? My sup was also surprised at why singaporean ask for bags when they buy only a few items. It can be so annopying cos the queue is so long n it's such a waste of time bagging the stuff for them. We should make them pay for bags next time!! One of my little tricks will be showing them a GIGANTIC bag for their SMALL bottle of water and say "opps, i only got this BIG BAG so do u STILL need a bag?" and it works like a charm! They will go "oh it's ok then, i will just carry the bottle". Of cos there are still some bag lovers that will go "oh such a big bag? ok i still want it"
