Good day happy day

Hard works pays off... Just got back my midterm results, it's better than wat i expected and i'm very happy about it! Kinda surprise at my results actually.. :P

Finally can relax for around 1-2 weeks and the mugging will have to begin again! People pls ask me out this week! haha i'm quite free!!?! Looking forward to this sunday's bbq at east coast for cirquadors gathering! BBQ teriyaki wings! woooo! the sound of it makes me hungry.. and strangely.. very hungry today the whole day.. why ah? mebbe the weather? hmm.. Classroom was freezing today.. Had my final presentation today which we did a news critique on StarHub's latest i-mode services. My group all wore green n white tops to match the corporate color which i tot was pretty cool! I think we did quite ok as our news critique was quite relevant to this week's tutorial's topic! Phew! that's a big load off my mind!

For the debate, apparently the other team won?!?! cos i just found out that they got a higher mark then us. But nevermind la who win/lose not impt! haha impt is we did our best n scored 8.5/10 which i think is out of my expectations already so i'm happy... consider i'm a damn bad "debatist".. if there's such a word?!

Today is a happy day.. whahaa! :P

Recently an interesting development came to light when a programmer named Mark Russinovich was working on some software that he had written. This software is called RootkitRevealer and it’s meant to uncover when a hacker has placed some very sneaky malware on your computer called a rootkit. Rootkits are used by hackers to cause a computers operating system to lie to the user about what is on the system, thus hiding the hacker’s dirty work.

Mark was quite surprised when he was running a test on his software and was quite surprised to see that his test machine had a rootkit on it that he was not expecting to find. Now Mark is a rather intelligent fellow and was able to track down the source of this unexpected hack onto his computer: a Sony audio CD he had played recently on his computer.........."

Biz Models.. and more Biz models.....

Oh man all these studying is kinda driving me nuts! haha i dun think i had ever studied so bloody hard for tests and exams!?!?! All i know is after these 2 midterms(2 presentations and 1 debate counting...) i am so gonna party!!!!!

The studying and understanding part is really tough.. but i think it's really useful. Maybe becos i'm exposed to more things and learning new things so the experience is still quite a fulfilling one.

Lecturer last teaching block was an American. Very experienced and knowledgable, he really know what he is saying, he gave us lots of real life experiences which i think is priceless! Good thing he has a good sense of humour too so the classes are pretty interesting, the previous lecturer was hopeless...

I cant wait for next week... How i wish this Thurs, Friday(debate) and Sat (exam n class) be OVER SOON!!! Until then......

exam mode fullstop

Last sunday at eastcoast was "siong" man! I felt like i ran a marathon after the game of frisbee! We won 15-7, it was a great game! Maybe it's becos we laugh too much so all of us were so out of breath... Hmm.. it's like feeling young and old at the same time. Young cos i'm playing frisbee by the beach with this crazy n fun bunch, old cos really no stamina anymore... ok maybe i'm not exactly old.. cos the oldest gal (bday gal) is 32years old!! haha blade abit too before the game, decided that i still LOVE cycling! HAHA!

Finally.... one mid term test down, one more to go (next sat). So tired since i only slept 4 hours last night mugging for the test. Totally stoned during the lectures after the test, dont think that it's a good idea to have lectures after test and we feedback to the school so hope they do something about it! Hope my efforts for the test would not be wasted.. 20% seems not alot but yet not little...

Anyway I NEEEEEEED entertainment so badly I join T and Box for "Just like heaven" and it was pretty good!! It was just wat i need... Mark was charming n Reese was as usual...petite n cute! The show was funny and heartwarming, i like wat he did for her at the ending... so sweet...
ok i'd decided that i shall give myself a little break tonight and watch TV/VCDs and then coma until tmrw.. haha
