Insomnia bug

I am so tired right now. But still got tonnes of things to do. Decided to take a breather by blogging. Taking a break is jus an excuse cos i feel like grumbling... hehe.

I'm so tired becos insomnia again last night. (T- oh no ur insomnia bug passed on to me liao... haha) No lah insomnia cos of the super power TehBing i drank b4 class! Its so power it made me stay awake the whole night. U know the dreadful feeling of how you lay awake in bed but u are so tired yet u cant fall asleep. Horrible... I can literally feel the sun rise up. Dang! Just when i tot i'm finally drifting into dreamland, my nephew came into the room to disturb me. bleh~

Taking one of the most horrid units (3rd year unit) Marketing Research this term. As the course name states, LOTSA RESEARCH to do.. which means... i REALLY need all the help i can from YOU ALL!! haha yes YOU who reading this!! Dun run away when the time comes k.. heehee!! You can claim lifetime-friendship-loyalty points from me or cookies. haha!

On another note, i was supposed to liase with some clients way in China for some stuffs and my client asked me "can u speak chinese? can right?" haha i tot that was an interesting question. But I do have some problem trying to find the right Mandarin word to fit into my sentense. e.g. I will usually say "可以帮我upload这几个files在server吗?" All of a sudden i am lost for words when i'm trying to find the Mandarin word for "upload, files and server" hahaha... I think that poor guy have such a hard time trying to communicate with me, even thou we were both speaking mandarin. he must think i am such a freak by speaking english and Mandarin in the same sentense. haha oh n did i mention how fast he talks??!! I'd only managed to catch the last few words of every sentense kuakuakua.. 和中国人比，我们的华语真的是有够烂!! 哈哈哈...

Scientists find most Earth-like planet yet

WASHINGTON (AP) -- European astronomers have found the most Earth-like planet outside our solar system, and here's what it might be like to live there:

The "sun" wouldn't burn brightly. It would hang close, large and red in the sky, glowing faintly like a charcoal ember. And it probably would never set if you lived on the sunny side of the planet.

You could have a birthday party every 13 days because that's how fast this new planet circles its sun-like star. But watch the cake -- you'd weigh a whole lot more than you do on Earth.

You might be able to keep your current wardrobe. The temperature in this alien setting will likely be a lot like Earth's -- not too hot, not too cold.

And that "just right" temperature is one key reason astronomers think this planet could conceivably house life outside our solar system. It's also as close to Earth-sized as telescopes have ever spotted. Both elements make it the first potentially habitable planet besides Earth or Mars.

Astronomers who announced the discovery of the new planet Tuesday say this puts them closer to answering the cosmic question: Are we alone?

Me and my hair

Went to look for mr andy to highlight my hair as he is finally in town! Cant stand my ugly fringe cut previously by an amateur at the salon near my house. Andy to the rescue! yeah!!

Anyway was thinking of trying out perming.. although i know need to take care of it abit mafan but abit sian of my straight hair for so long le.. hehe. After the highlight mr andy say he can set my hair for me so i can take a look at how i look with permed hair. haha so i tried!!

So i decided i shall perm my hair the next time he is in town!! yipppeeee! so exciting! haha

Wow havent sheesha-ed for a long time. The 2 elders went there to celebrate little ann's bday. haha hmm decided that i dun like sheesha that much, it makes my throat very dry n i'm having a headache now.. mebbe grape flavor makes me giddy.. i dunoo.. heh.

Went Ikea this afternoon with my bro mum n dad. Bought a nice comfy swivel chair (finally!) and new phone for the house n other stuffs.. Dad still quite "anal" with the new car. Everything has to be done his way. As usual.. i am not saying anything so i am letting him have his way for now. Once he get over that protective phase he will be "less anal" about things..

This is wat i call the "middle-child syndrome". (we were just talking abt it jus now at sheesha ha!). Quite used to it liao.. The smartest thing to do is to just walk away without saying a word if u dun wan a lecture. Well..at least i know where i get my "strong-headness" from.. haha!

Think everyone is in a foul mood recently. I try to sleep more n think less.. haha

Exams finally over but the new term starts again... 1 more year to go n i will be done and i cant wait!!!! There is a plan to go tour Aussie when we grad! haha hopefully i can save enough $$ by then... Meanwhile, it's one term at a time, one module at a time. I am getting so sick of all the report writing and presentation to work on... *pukes* n the stupid busy weekends taken up by class and exams. Sorry frens, if u hate my schedule then imagine me being me. Bleh~

Someone drove a Porche to class today. @#&$(!@&# that rich shit whoever it is.. haha!! The $$ for that car can feed maybe 200,000 african kids for many months k...kuakuakua...

The recent pay issue is quite "entertaining" indeed. Not only do I find it so amusing that when A sings, B dances and C hums along, its like scenes of a ch8 drama series unfolding sl0wly...n i mean those with the lousy expected plot. Remind me again what is it about the widening income and social gap? sighh...

Went to watch "The Reaping" after our last paper with the mates. We went bugis to eat mala steamboat after the movie. Had a fill and good laughs. It feels great to unwind after the papers. =) Celebrated Tam's bday at Can with a nice cake.

We got our car!! Went down and collected the car with my dad on tues. Hee! Niceeeee.. its a roaring sunlight copper suzuki swift! hee! and its definitely better to drive than the previous ah pek toyota, mebbe partially becos its auto? hahaa but then i think the steering and handling still feels much better. Got a nice carplate combi too.. haha just think of my name.. haha :P

I need new motivations and new interests. hmmm I have these 2 things that i wan to learn next! Swimming(i know! i been talking abt this forever.. :P) and a musical instrument! haha both things are what i always wanted to learn but never got the chance when i was young. Got this motivation to take music lessons suddenly the other day while daydreaming in the mrt.. perharps i can start now? ha! Hmm thinking maybe piano? guitar? lol! Imagine me going for piano lessons at this age.. haha but then never too old to learn isnt it? haha ok ok save up save up!!!! piano lessons is ex... oh anyone know how to play piano teach me la?? haha!
